"For without art in our lives what is left?"
|
Circa 1850
This antique
bike called a "bone shaker", popular in the 1800's, was
designed for use on a wooden indoor track. The
image was created in front of a barn that dates back to
1810. The two geese complete the country ambiance
of this lithographic montage. Of course, while
creating this piece, the geese were more interested in
attacking me than standing still.
